For now just use Exile Greatsword. :) I rarely use R2 attacks, so thats why I prefer the easy to fully upgrade (mostly psychological though, I just dont like the idea of losing 1 of the 1-2/playthrough slabs for a weapon which ends up being weaker unless buffed) BKS for normal enemies, and a buffed claymore for bosses. I never liked its appearance, and so I never really bothered with it. At 40/40 STR/DEX, you will deal 532dmg (2H), but only 522dmg (2H) with BKS.
