Back at the main entry, the front door (below) is actually three distinct doors and features amazing stained glass with a “tree of life” motif designed by Charles Greene and executed beautifully by German-born glass artisan, Emil Lange. I have never seen a house with such intricate and beautiful woodwork. I have visited it once and plan to do so again. Please let the people who worked on the video and the gentleman who spoke what a wonderful job they did. I have done my cathedral ceiling in all wood and beams. I was smitten by the satiny, extruded appearance of the wood as part of my introduction to the Arts and Crafts movement twenty years ago.
